Krauss Maffei’s smaller MX 650 tonne clamp injection moulding machine

Krauss Maffei is a world leader in plastics processing and will promote the MX 850 tonne clamp injection moulding machine at the Taipei Plas show to be held at the end of this month in Taiwan. The company will focus on the CleanForm series for medical moulding.

The machines are certified in accordance with Cleanroom Class ISO 5, ISO 14644-1 and Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) Sterility Class A.

“Krauss Maffei has been a reliable partner for many years with the medical and pharmaceutical industries. The CleanForm machinery sets the highest of standards for the production of sterile components,” says Dr Karlheinz Bourdon, vice president of injection moulding technologies.

The company offers a range of machines such as the MX, compact hydraulic CX and all electric EX injection machines, which are designed for customised environments featuring CleanForm variants such as inside-outside drop robots, outside robot, and room-in-room hepa filtered environments.

CleanForm production cells can be completed by linear robots with vertical or lateral entry and industrial robots in different designs.

Clean moulding production requires an extensive knowledge of the contamination source and the remedial measures.

An adapted production cell comprising a machine, cleanroom and an automation concept represents the solution for complex moulding production.

Krauss Maffei is represented in New Zealand by HBM Plastics Technologies.
