Machinery specialists Duncan AG tells Engineering News that it has extended its range of Duncan Cranes, combining the best of German precision engineering with “legendary Duncan reliability”.
The range now boasts compact mounted cranes specially sourced for small and medium trucks as well as utility vehicles.
Spanning in lift power from 990kg to 2.2 tonnes, the new Duncan Cranes range comprises three models and features quality built cranes from world-class German manufacturer Atlas.
“We were originally going to use these cranes for our own seed drills, but were so impressed with their build quality and design we have decided to import them for other users as well as ourselves,” the company tells NZEN.
Like Duncan AG, Atlas has a long history of innovation and quality manufacturing, and both companies are confident that Duncan Cranes will “quickly become known as the name to turn to for robust, well designed and flexible machines”.
Three models are now available, starting with the Duncan Atlas TC13C. At a maximum lifting weight of 990 kg, this is the smallest crane in the range, providing a lightweight, simple and compact solution for small trucks or utes with big jobs. It is easy to install and operate and offers a maximum reach of 3.46 m.
Next is the Duncan Atlas TC23C, which provides up to 1.8 tonnes of lifting power. As the middle of the range option, the TC23C is the most flexible of the three models available and has multiple extensions with a reach of up to 4 meters.
Last, the Duncan Atlas TC33C is the largest in the range being imported, capable of lifting up to 2.2 tonnes and providing a reach of over 5.5 metres. This model is tailor-made for situations demanding simplicity and performance, and can be mounted on both medium and small trucks.
