Techspan Group has released a new range of high quality plastic welding systems which includes hand-held and automatic hot air welders, wedge welders, and extruder welders. The heavy duty welders are robustly designed, for optimal performance and reliability under extreme working conditions. A number of innovative features are incorporated into the welders, including advanced plug-in ceramic heating systems, high technology materials, and a fully self-contained ergonomic design.

Techspan hot air welding tools are designed for fabrication and repair of rigid plastics up to 8mm thick, and for welding flexible fabrics and films. Integrated electronic temperature control allows virtually all types of thermoplastics to be welded.

Techspan also offers extruder welders, with welding capacities up to 6kg/hr. The extruder welders are used by plastic fabricators for welding plastics over 8mm thick, and also by civil engineering contractors for welding liners for landfills, reservoirs, etc. Extruder welding shoes are interchangeable for fillet, V, X, and overlap welds. The new extruder welders are designed for welding PE and PP, and several models also weld PVDF and PVC materials.

The new plastic welding systems are covered by a limited two year warranty, and include 100m of free plastic welding rods with every new welder.
